We design personalized trips and exclusive experiences!
A journey is much more than the destination you visit, and perhaps the greatest advantage of a tailor-made trip is the opportunity to create it around what interests you most and to experience it at your own pace. But what if there’s no time left for research and planning?
We offer you custom, thoughtfully planned journeys created around your interests, with everything pre-booked for you. We travel constantly, discovering hidden gems, tasting new flavors, talking with locals, consulting cultural experts and adventurers, and creating new experiences to make your trip truly special.
We also organize private parties, honeymoon trips, and family reunions. Here are some starting points to inspire you, but if you have something else in mind, just share it with us. We don’t know how to say “no,” and we’re confident we can make it happen.

WINE AFFAIRS IN SPAIN
Spanish wine has undergone a quiet transformation over the past few decades. The country’s reputation has risen, and today it is known for incredibly diverse and dynamic wines. Spain may not produce as much wine as European leaders France and Italy, but it has more vineyard area than any other country. Despite this, due to the dry climate and older vines, yields are generally smaller than in other regions of the world, but what it lacks in volume is more than made up for by intensely concentrated and refined wines.
Spain offers numerous wine routes that follow destinations rich in culture and gastronomy, all featuring stunning views, popular fiestas, and activities that will make your trip unforgettable. The Spanish wine scene is as diverse as its landscapes. It’s wonderful to combine different wine regions in one journey to reveal the full variety of Spain’s wines.
In just one region like Galicia, you’ll find two contrasting zones – Rías Baixas, with its Albariño and Godello grapes kissed by the ocean among stunning palace gardens, and Ribeira Sacra – a hidden treasure with its heroic wines on the slopes of river canyons. Just a step away is Castilla y León with El Bierzo – a sea of vineyards growing the local Mencía, a red grape producing structured, silky, and elegant wines.
Great to explore together are Rueda – home of the fresh Verdejo, charming Torowith its legend of the first wine to set foot on the American shore – Tinto de Toro. Traveling along the N-122 through the Duero Valley for about 30 km introduces you to three of Spain’s most emblematic wineries, amid the sea of vineyards in Ribeira del Duero – the land of Tempranillo. How impressive it is to discover some of Spain’s best whites right next to some of its best reds.
In the northeast, you’ll find the best-known Spanish wine region, Rioja, shining on the global wine stage with its quality and prestige. The Denomination of Qualified Origin Rioja (DOCa) with roughly 65,000 hectares of vineyards is characterized by its geographic and climatic diversity, allowing a wide range of wine styles. We combine the enchanting Rioja with the picturesque small areas of Basque Txakoli, pampered by the Atlantic, and Navarrese rosé, grown amidst a glorious history.
The wine route in Catalonia invites you to explore the wines of Penedès, the heart of Cava, surrounded by castles, grand cultural heritage, and numerous examples of Romanesque and Modernist art. Catalonia is also home to Priorat – Spain’s second region to receive the highest quality classification (DOC) for classy, full-bodied reds produced on steep terroirs. Empordà, a favored region with centuries of history, guarded by the Pyrenees and caressed by the Mediterranean, produces mainly whites and rosés, harmonious and aromatic.
Jerez de la Frontera, El Puerto de Santa María, and Sanlúcar de Barrameda form the Sherry Triangle. Here, sherry ages in monumental winery-cathedrals, making it one of Spain’s most visited wine routes. Sherry is unlike any other wine in taste or production. The wines of Marco de Jerez are Spain’s great contribution to the world of enology. The Andalusian wine scene is complemented by the small Montilla-Moriles region, stretching into Córdoba province, and wines from the mountains of Málaga and Ronda.
The Alicante wine area is a great starting point to explore nearby Jumilla – the garden of Monastrell, much of it on ungrafted vines. In 2023, Decanter awarded this small region 5 medals. We combine these areas with La Mancha, which surprisingly or not, due to its vineyard hectares, is the largest wine region in the world. The longest eco-tourism corridor in Europe runs through this region: the Don Quixote route, from where we head to Toledo and Madrid, best known for their Tempranillo and Garnacha.
This is an overview of the main wine routes to help you discover Spain’s vast gastronomic wealth in an original way. Aromas, flavors, history, and art merge into a rich experience. Spain is a top enotourism destination globally and continues to evolve. Wine activities go far beyond tastings and winery open doors — wine is experienced in exquisite wine hotels, museums, vineyard activities such as lunches and picnics, grape harvest participation, blending workshops, bike routes, concerts, fine gastronomy, farm-to-table culinary experiences, underground cellar tours, sea adventures with wines aged underwater, resting at the mercy of the waves, among lava fields, at volcano foots, or in spa centers where wine ages gracefully alongside your skin.
As for tastings, wineries are evolving, imagination runs wild, and wine marries chocolate, cheese, ham, tapas, mussels — and flamenco, theater, live music, and architecture.
If you’re a wine lover and enjoy this exciting way of traveling among vineyards and wineries, each with its own stories, come with us to Spain — there’s much to taste. Check out our organized small group travel program. Reed more here.

WINE AFFAIRS IN PORTUGAL
Portugal is nothing short of a paradise for wine lovers — a country where a rich vinous heritage entwines seamlessly with breathtaking landscapes and vibrant culture. From the legendary Douro Valley to the lush island of Madeira, each region unveils a treasure trove of diversity and abundance. Discover Portugal through its wines and the passionate people who craft them. Stretching from north to south, east to west, the furrows in the earth, the sprawling vineyards, the scent of seasoned oak, the peeled cork oaks, the mythical labels, and the family-run wineries pay homage to Bacchus himself. There is no finer way to appreciate and understand this than by immersing yourself in the country’s many distinct wine regions.
We invite you on an evocative journey through Portugal’s most iconic wine routes, where every glass tells a story unlike any other.
Choose your next destination and let us guide you there.
The crown jewel of Portuguese wine tourism is undoubtedly Porto and the Douro Valley. Port wine reigns supreme here, but it’s the dramatic terraced vineyards clinging to the rugged slopes that truly steal the show — a UNESCO World Heritage landscape peppered with historic estates intrinsically linked to the world of wine. Cross the Dom Luís I Bridge to Vila Nova de Gaia, where the finest port vintages age gracefully in barrels — from the bold Ruby to the complex Tawny. Savor your glass against a backdrop of sweeping panoramas, or, if you visit in September and October, join the grape harvest celebrations.
Flowing through this majestic valley, the Douro River offers the perfect vantage point for exploration aboard a leisurely cruise, revealing the ancient terraces rising proudly above the water. This is the sanctuary of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Barroca grapes — not only the lifeblood of Port but also the foundation of exceptional table wines.
Alentejo, one of Portugal’s most beloved territories, unfolds like a sun-drenched tapestry. Here, Aragonez (known as Tempranillo in Spain) and Alicante Bouschet produce generous, warm reds as radiant as the Alentejo sun. The region is the country’s largest in both size and production. Endless rows of vineyards stretch to the horizon, while historic landmarks like the Elvas aqueduct and the Roman ruins of Évora — both UNESCO World Heritage sites — punctuate the landscape. Amidst vast vineyards and olive groves, the sight of cork oak forests reminds visitors of one of the world’s most sustainable industries. Check out our organized small group travel program as well.
The Lisbon region balances cosmopolitan flair with rustic traditions. The aromatic Moscatel de Setúbal — a true jewel — is best savoured at its source. Vine-lined paths lead through gentle hills down to the Atlantic coast, with significant vineyards in Arruda dos Vinhos, Alenquer, Torres Vedras and Óbidos. The medieval town of Óbidos , encircled by imposing walls, and the nearby Bucelas, famed for a white wine once cherished by King George III’s court, add to the allure. South of Lisbon, crossing the Tagus River, the Setúbal Peninsula surprises with its fresh whites and youthful rosés.
In the Beira region, bordering Spain, history and wine entwine beautifully. Ancient castles stand guard over vineyards along the Dão route and the inner Beira trail. Granite soils imbue wines with a distinctive character, while the climate — shaped by Atlantic winds and inland influences — brings cold, wet winters and hot, dry summers, perfect conditions for viticulture. Here, red grapes like Touriga Nacional and Aragonez shine, complemented by white varieties such as Malvasia Fina and Verdelho. The reds are robust and aromatic, developing impressive complexity with age, while the whites burst with balanced fruitiness.
Vinho Verde’s verdant landscapes in Portugal’s northwest offer a different charm. Grapes like Alvarinho and Loureiro produce fresh, sometimes subtly sparkling wines that mirror the region’s lush greenery. The north is also home to noble families who historically supported Portuguese monarchs, with magnificent manor houses bearing coats of arms — a testament to aristocratic hospitality. Historic cities such as Braga, the UNESCO-listed Guimarães, and Viana do Castelo await discovery, each nestled between rivers and the sea.
For a touch of southern warmth, Algarve beckons — a region separated from the Alentejo plains by a mountainous spine stretching from the Spanish border to the Atlantic coast. Its Mediterranean climate, golden beaches, dramatic cliffs, and sun-kissed vineyards create a winning combination. Modern rural estates, boutique wineries, stylish hotels, and excellent restaurants have made Algarve a cutting-edge wine destination, honouring Portugal’s legendary hospitality. Castelão and Negra Mole craft alluring reds, while Arinto and Síria shine in fresh whites and rosés, perfect for summer sipping. Few pleasures compare to enjoying a delicate white wine on a terrace overlooking the Atlantic’s endless blue. Check out our organized small group travel program as well.
Let’s not forget Portugal’s overseas wine regions: the Azores and Madeira islands, each an adventure in their own right, promising extraordinary wine tourism experiences we’ll explore separately.
Portugal’s wine tourism offering is superb, often entwined with rural tourism and charming hotels nestled in privileged locations. The rustic charm of these places conceals contemporary comforts and wineries invested in cutting-edge technology — some designed by renowned Portuguese architects. The spectrum of wine experiences is vast: personalised tastings, dedicated wine museums, fine gastronomy, stargazing with wine in hand, spa and vinotherapy, outdoor excursions, cork discovery tours, family festivals, and more. Alongside exceptional wines, sample local produce like fruit, cheese, olive oils, artisanal sweets, and traditional cuisine.
We’ve handpicked outstanding hotels, wineries and experiences to ensure that wherever and however you choose to enjoy your Portuguese wine, it will be truly unforgettable.

THE PASSION OF FLAMENCO
As you sit in the dark, the anticipation hangs in the air like a fine electrical current. Suddenly, a spotlight switches on, revealing four performers in flamenco garb, each one seated at a corner of the “stage”—a small rectangular plank in the center of the audience. As the cantaora (vocalist) begins to sing, the dancers stand in turn, punctuating her a cappella wails with percussive strikes of their wooden-heeled shoes. The vibration pulses through the floor into your body, like a second heartbeat competing with your own. The guitarist’s fingers dance across the strings, weaving the story deeper still. The song ends, but you remain breathless with emotion. Such is flamenco’s power; resistance is futile. There is no doubt that flamenco stands as one of Spain’s most iconic cultural signatures — transcending borders, touching souls, and delving into the heart of artistic expression. On 16 November 2010, UNESCO inscribed flamenco as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, a testament to its profound significance. Since then, the Day of Flamenco is celebrated each 16th November with fervour.
We invite you to meet flamenco in its home. Immerse yourself in this rich tapestry with visits to master artisans crafting traditional dresses; explore a luthier’s workshop and discover the intricate making of the Spanish guitar; wander a captivating flamenco museum that tells its many stories. For both novices and seasoned aficionados, and for the bravest enthusiasts, we recommend dance classes to truly feel the fire.
Andalusia carries flamenco in its very DNA, with its cities vying to host the most authentic stages. How about a flamenco safari? Undoubtedly, the journey begins in Jerez de la Frontera — widely regarded as the cradle of this passionate art. Flamenco pulses through the veins of its people, and you’ll find peñas, tablaos, or tabancos showcasing impromptu performances in the most unexpected corners — and we have our own trusted recommendations too.
Seville is another essential destination for lovers of this profound Spanish folklore, honouring flamenco in revered venues known as tablaos. Here, a sensory feast awaits, as every performance is perfectly paired with exquisite local cuisine. In Granada, heartfelt, soul-stirring flamenco echoes through the caves of the local gitanos.
Beyond the major cities, we’ll guide you to street flamenco, to small towns that burst into life over the weekend, and most notably, to a traditional Andalusian feria — seven days and seven nights of unbridled fiesta, where you might even leave with your own flamenco dress or classic traje.
